The publication presents 53 compelling wooden sculptures by Daniel Bucur. In correlation to its content, the front-and back-cover of the book incorporates large blind-embossings referencing the wooden textures and the artist’s exceptional craft. The monochromatic colour treatment, on the cover and the edges of the pages of the book, echo the artist’s singular piece working method.

Each sculpture is portrayed by two photographs taken from a different angle and accompanied by a narrative text. Each sculpture is individually numbered. These numbers form the structure of the book, as an alternative to conventional page numbers. The warm colour palette used throughout the book reflects the sculptures and the hotel interior. A copy of the publication is placed in each of the 53 hotel rooms to give an insight and explain the sculptures to the hotel guests and visitors.
