/ Grafikum is a graphic design studio founded by Julia Juriga-Lamut and Marion Mayr. “Our work reflects a passion for detailed typography combined with a knowledge of fine materials and elaborate print production. We welcome collaborations with artists and designers in various fields and perceive our studio as a base for creative dialogue and exchange.”
/ Julia Juriga-Lamut studied at the “University of Applied Arts” in Vienna and in Lisbon. She worked as a designer in Vienna (for Tina Frank, Perndl Design and Nofrontiere) and with book designers including Irma Boom in the Netherlands. She was assistant professor at the “University for Art and Industrial Design Linz – Department for Graphic Design & Photography” and is holding lectures in the field of Typography.
/ Marion Mayr has been working for various studios and clients as a freelance art director and designer in London, New York and Vienna including: Stefan Sagmeister, Aboud Creative, Alessandri Design,… She studied at “Die Graphische” and the “University of Applied Art” (Vienna, Austria) and received an MA in Communication Design at “Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design” (London, UK).
/ Brigitte Höfler received her MA in Communication Design at „Kingston University London“. She has been working as a junior art director and designer for various studios in Berlin, New York and Vienna – e.g. TheGreenEyl, karlssonwilker and JulandBarcelonaVienna. She works as an assistant professor for Tina Frank at the “University for Art and Industrial Design Linz” and is holding lectures for “Dynamic Visual Identities” and “Typography in Space”.
